The worldwide premiere of “Turn The River” will be at this year’s Hampton’s Film Festival. Directed and written by Chris Eigeman, the movie tells the story of a pool hustler - played by Famke - who gambles everything for the love of her son.

Famke Janssen will star in the NBC's cop drama from House creator/executive producer David Shore. The untitled project is a light drama with police-procedural elements that centres on a female cop (Janssen). Last year, Janssen starred in the summer blockbuster X-Men: The Last Stand, reprising her role as Jean Grey/Phoenix, a part she has played in all three X-Men movies. She is also featured in The Ten, which premiered at Sundance, and had a role on Nip/Tuck.
